Delays continue to appear for games that were scheduled to arrive later this year.
The most recent victim is Dying Light 2, but fortunately we already have a new release date.
Techalnd shared a letter on the game’s social media announcing that Dying Light 2 Stay Human will not be ready for early December.
That is why the game has been delayed until Friday, February 4, 2021. In the letter, Techland CEO Paweł Marchewka explains the following:
The game is complete and we are currently testing it. It is by far the largest and most ambitious project we have ever done. Unfortunately, we have realized that to bring the game to the level we envision, we will need more time to polish and optimize it.
This would be the third delay that the game suffers, but it is the slightest without a doubt.
In addition, the CEO stated that some media and content creators will have the opportunity to test the game in October to share opinions and gameplays.
In case you have not had the opportunity to see it yet, then we leave you with a gameplay of Dying Light 2:
