The Imola track, also known as Autódromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, is now available in F1 2021.
This circuit made its return to the Formula 1 calendar in 2020 and also hosted the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in the 2021 season.
We have an ideal setup for you to start timing on this classic track.
Imola setup or adjustment
The car setup screens are the same as in F1 2020, so you should be able to quickly locate yourself. These are the settings that we recommend you use if you are just starting out in the game courtesy of the site RacingGames.gg:
- Front wing: 8
- Rear wing: 10
With this slightly high wing configuration you can speed through corners without losing control of the rear of the car.
These levels will be useful to avoid opening too much on curves like Piratella and Acque Minerali.
- Differential when accelerating: 80%
- Differential when decelerating: 55%
Continuing with the trend, 80% will give you a good exit from the curves but without avoiding overloading the rear tires. 55% when decelerating will be more conducive to cornering.
- Front drop: -2.50 °
- Rear drop: -2.00 °
- Conv./Div. forward: 0.07 °
- Conv./Div. rear: 0.20 °
For the fall of the tires we have kept with the usual configuration which is the maximum value in the front and the minimum in the rear.
To this is added 0.07 ° of Conv./Div. front for optimal setup in the dry.
- Front suspension: 1
- Rear suspension: 6
- Front roll bar: 1
- Rear roll bar: 6
- Front Chassis Height: 1
- Rear Chassis Height: 7
With a 1-6 on both the suspension and the roll bars you will have a front end capable of going into corners and a very solid rear end.
To help with this, the chassis height is set to 1-7.
- Brake pressure: 100%
- Front braking: 55%
To avoid overshooting some heavy braking zones, 100% brake pressure will help with that. If you feel like you’re blocking the tires a lot, try lowering the pressure a bit.
- Right front tire pressure: 24.2psi
- Left Front Tire Pressure: 24.2psi
- Right rear tire pressure: 23.5psi
- Left rear tire pressure: 23.5psi
With this level of pressure in the tires you will get a good grip so as not to go off the track in difficult corners. If you feel that the degradation is very high, lower one click each pressure.
